First Coast Technical College can help you determine if you are ready for the GED exam. FCTC's Assessment Department can administer the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) to help you decide if your are ready.
The GED is a series of five tests which measure your ability to perform at high school graduate level. The tests take seven hours and are taken on two days or evenings. The subjects covered are Language Arts Writing, Language Arts Reading, Social Studies, Science and Mathematics.
To register for the GED test, you must come to the Adult Education Department office in Building B at the First Coast Technical College Main Campus.
