Graduates of the program are prepared to enter the childcare field with the best tools and information available to provide quality care.

Florida Department of Children and Families

The ECPC program of study at FCTC is authorized by the U.S. Department of Education and designed to train childcare providers in greater detail on the characteristics and needs of the pre-school age child. Students participate in both classroom training and on-site application. FCTC is authorized by the Florida Department of Children and Families to offer the Child Care Training Coursework required for new providers.

The coursework is a broad overview of the basic skills necessary to teach our youngest population. Classroom instructors provide assistance in transferring the knowledge gained through the classroom instruction into job application.
