American Welding SocietyAs a member of the American Welding Society FCTC offers a nationally accredited program that places you at the top of the job market. You can also use your welding skills towards a future in teaching, sales, construction, or robotics. You will earn an excellent salary, work in interesting places and meet great people. Shop or laboratory activities are an integral part of this program and provide instruction in various processes and techniques of welding and fabrication skills including: thermal cutting; Shielded Metal Arc Welding SMAW); Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW); Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW); Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW); Certification Test Preparation; and use of current industry standards, practices and techniques.
