Aircraft Fabrication

In an effort to provide skilled employees for the aerospace industry, First Coast Technical College is offering its aircraft fabrication program.

Classroom lecture and hands-on practice curriculum has been designed to prepare students for aircraft structure and composite fabrication and assembly. Graduates who complete FCTC’s program will have the necessary skills to be employed by aircraft manufacturers such as Northrop Grumman Corporation and area subcontractors in a variety of positions.

• Basic Aircraft Assembly
• Aerospace Technician
• Composite Fabricator

To meet the needs of industry, students will be required to interpret basic geometric definitions, basic lines and drafting methods, drawing numbering systems, types of drawings, engineering parts lists, and coordinating reference systems.
