Areas of Study
Training is provided in the following areas: orientation, safety, implements and equipment, job success skills, Florida Law, scalp and hair analysis, scalp treatments, hair conditioners, shampoos, rinses, hairstyling, permanent waves, chemical relaxing/reverse curl, hair coloring, lightening and toning, manicures, pedicures, nail extensions, nail structure, skin care, product chemistry, salon planning, and salon management.
The Facial Specialist program includes scientific fundamentals in all skin care services available to patrons in the beauty salon. Upon completion and successfully passing the specified certification exam, you will be a registered facial technician ready for employment.
The Nails Specialist program includes the scientific fundamentals in all nail services available to patrons in a beauty salon. Upon completion and successfully passing the specified certification exam, you will be a registered nail technician ready for employment.
