First Coast Technical College is pleased to announce the appointment of William (Bill) E. Garrison as a new member of FCTC’s Board of Directors, representing Clay County.
Unanimously approved, Garrison begins serving a three-year term immediately.
The FCTC Board consists of business and industry representatives from the three counties primarily served by the College: Clay, Putnam, and St Johns.
Garrison currently serves as Director of the Clay County Economic Development Council. A Clay County resident since 1985, Garrison has multiple fields of professional expertise in operational strategy which greatly complements the existing board.
“Mr. Garrison’s extensive experience working with state and local officials on issues affecting Florida’s economy makes him a great addition to our Board,” said Sandra Raburn, FCTC President. “We look forward to working with Mr. Garrison in our efforts to increase our Northeast Florida partnerships.”
