MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited two or four year college or university; or at a technical school taking college level courses. Successful completion of criminal history background investigation is required prior to employment. **UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT $13.50/HOUR**   **GRADUATE STUDENT $14.00/HOUR**
This position will assist the water resources program. The selected candidate will help with water quality monitoring which may include groundwater and creeks sampling, wastewater treatment plant inspections, and educational site visits to local businesses. The position includes some office tasks, including data entry and assistance with reports. Roughly half of the candidate’s time will be spent assisting with our interactive educational programs in local classrooms and at events in our community.
The ideal candidate will be available for some full day shifts with an average of 15-25 hours per week (depending on work load and candidate availability). Desired skills include public speaking, good communication skills, experience in Excel and Microsoft Word, and the desire to work in the field.
