Aqua Grill is currently seeking a Chef. This is a key kitchen position in our restaurant and we’re seeking the best of the best!
Position requirements include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for maintaining food quality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain standards of hygiene and safety throughout the kitchen.
Ensures that all sanitation and proper food handling practices are maintained.
Motivates team to uphold standards of preparation as well as maximizing productivity and profitability.
Assist Executive Chef with inventory and cost control.
Set standards and maintain food presentation quality.
Motivate staff and maintain discipline at all times.
Receive all goods and ensure that they meet company quality specifications.
Ensure that support staff is following recipes correctly. Work the line to produce beautiful tasty dishes at a rapid pace,
Capable of producing a consistent product to meet and exceed guests’ needs.
Open availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
Long hours sometimes required.
Ability to lift heavy objects sometimes necessary.
Ability to educate and demonstrate fundamental and advanced cooking skills to colleagues.
