Diesel Mechanic (Heavy Equipment/Truck) Sign On Bonus
Overview: DB Civil Construction LLC is currently seeking a Diesel Mechanic
Responsibilities
· Mobile Mechanic to Analyze malfunctions and repairs.
· Rebuild and maintain construction equipment, such as excavators, wheel loaders, paving machines, motor graders, bulldozers, telescopic and walking excavators, material handling and vac trucks.
· Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
· Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
· Replace defective engines and subassemblies such as transmissions.
· Weld broken parts and structural members.
· Must be able to read and comprehend repair manuals.
· Other related job functions may include, but not limited to:
§ Examines parts for damage and/or excessive wear.
§ Using micrometers and gauges.
§ Tests overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiently.
§ Use computer to diagnose problems.
Qualifications:
· Must have at least 5 years’ experience.
· Knowledge on all types of construction equipment including:
§ Loaders, Backhoes, Excavators, Material Handlers, Rollers
§ *Cummins and Isuzu engine knowledge helpful but not required
· Must have computer knowledge
· Must have own tools but DB Civil will provide a majority of tools
· Good communication skills

*DB Civil will provide service truck for Candidate to take back and forth to residence.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
