Ever watch the comic performers on shows like “Who’s Line Is It Anyway?” and wonder, “How are they so funny making up things on the spot?” Well, now you can learn how. In “Introduction to Improv Comedy” you learn the basic concepts and skills of successful improv comedy, including “Yes, And”, listening, emotional choices and the importance of character/ point of view. Unleash the funny performer in you, learn to think quickly on your feet, learn to trust yourself and your innate creative ability more, gain more confidence and comfort on stage, and improve your listening and observational skills…all while having an absolute blast while doing it! Christopher Schiavo has over ten years experience studying and performing improv comedy in Los Angeles, including at the renowned Groundlings Comedy Theatre, training ground to such comic performers as Will Ferrell, Phil Hartman, and Melissa McCarthy. Chris also performed in a long-form improv group alongside Eric Stonestreet, star of TV’s “Modern Family”. Chris has also performed and coached comedy groups at Improv Olympic West in Hollywood, California.
