LPN or RN Nurse

RN/LPN Nursing:

Responsible for completing assigned nursing-related services to each client and for linking clients to the physicians and to outside medical resources.
Informs the clinical team about medical issues and are available for emergency medical resources.
Provides all services under the supervision of Lead Nurse, DON, DOO, COO, and Clinical Director.
Responsible to assist with medical and history screens, provide routine nursing care, and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the client in coordination with the multidisciplinary team.
Must have flexible availability and can work night shifts and 2 weekends a month.
Pay based on LPN, RN, and/or experience and considered on an individual bases.
Skills and Competencies:

Assist with the admission process of new patient’s admissions and orientation procedures and schedules.
Records Inventory Logs of all personal belongings and valuables, then, makes return tickets which are kept in the safe.
Fills out required lab requisitions per protocol.
De-escalates AMA and other patient problems.
Hands-off information necessary for the evening Techs and Nursing at the end of the day shift.
Maintains logbooks for the continuity of care and participates in shift turnover and ensures that the next shift has Techs on duty.
Supervise patients completing the detoxification and residential programs with emphasis on patient safety and well-being.
Provide emotional support for patients while referring them to therapy staff to deal with clinical issues.
Provide primary nursing care to all assigned patients, including treatment, medications, teaching, psychosocial support, developmental interventions, and other duties deemed necessary
Complete all assigned paperwork in a neat, accurate, and timely manner.
Complete incident reports according to policy in a timely, and accurate manner.
Communicate with other staff, as necessary, to promote quality patient care
Interact appropriately with patients, showing them respect while maintaining boundaries.
Conduct physical assessments; documentation; vital signs; medications administered via oral, injectable or other routes, phlebotomy, and any other interventions ordered by a physician/provider that are within the scope of the nursing license.
Competent and fluent with EMR systems, Computer charting on multiple screens, Online lab screening, scanning and uploading documents into client charts.
Requirements for this position are:

Must be available to work at-least two weekends a month
Must be able to pass a level II AHCA background screening
Current RN or LPN license
Current CPR
Must be able to perform all job duties.
Wearing of Black Scrubs for the Nursing Department
