Metal Fabricator
Location: High Springs, FL (Near Gainesville)
Job Type: Full-time | In-person

ThemeWorks is hiring a skilled Metal Fabricator with strong experience in all metal structural fabrication, including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, to help us build environments that amaze and inspire — from immersive museum exhibits to large-scale theme park features.
What You’ll Do:
- Interpret shop drawings and generate accurate take-offs and measurements
- Weld metals using GMAW/FCAW processes (certification preferred)
- Ensure compliance with ThemeWorks’ high craftsmanship standards
- Select materials, tools, and methods for efficient production
- Perform visual inspections and quality control throughout fabrication
- Collaborate with artists, technicians, and project managers
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in metal fabrication/welding, preferably in custom or scenic fabrication
- Experience in all metals structural welding (GMAW/FCAW); able to pass certification test
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings, and translate into precise fabrication
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a hands-on shop environment
- Motivated to grow technical knowledge and craftsmanship
- Must pass our metal fabrication test
