Pay: $25 – $27 / hour
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM and rotating weekends
Job Description:
The LPN will work onsite 7:00pm to 7:00am, schedule and rotating weekends. The LPN will provide care and monitoring for the mental and medical stability of the clients in a detox and residential facility. We are looking for a flexible candidate who likes working both shifts and can accommodate a changing schedule.
This is a full-time position and includes the following responsibilities:
- Provide unit supervision on assigned shifts.
- Screening and intake of clients
- Entering client information into our EMR with accuracy
- Development of a diagnostic impression for those clients screened.
- Assessing client mental health for appropriate psychiatric disposition, medical and substance abuse assessment.
- Medical treatment as ordered by the physician.
- Medical triage
- Administration of emergency medications
- Crisis intervention
- Emergency procedures (if needed)
Requirements:
- One year or more experience in substance use and/or mental health setting.
- Must be a licensed LPN n Florida
- Hospital experience a plus
- Must be able to complete work assignments efficiently
- Prefer a self-starter and ‘can do’ attitude
