Blue Sky Dental Group is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

In this role, success looks like supporting providers efficiently, creating a smooth patient experience, and maintaining a well-organized clinical environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
• Taking and processing dental X-rays
• Providing excellent chairside support and patient education
• Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
• Supporting front office or clinical team needs as required

What We’re Looking For

• Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience (state requirements apply)
• Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
