Blue Sky Dental Group is seeking a dependable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Jacksonville, FL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
In this role, success looks like supporting providers efficiently, creating a smooth patient experience, and maintaining a well-organized clinical environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Taking and processing dental X-rays
- Providing excellent chairside support and patient education
- Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment in compliance with OSHA standards
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting front office or clinical team needs as required
What We’re Looking For
- Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience (state requirements apply)
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control protocols
- Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
