Pediatric Dental Assistant
Schedule: 37 Hours | 4 Days a Week | No Fridays
Interview Location: Interviews are conducted at our Management Office: 3030 Hartley Rd., Jacksonville, FL. The position itself is based at our St. Augustine dental office.
We’re seeking a skilled, confident Pediatric Dental Assistant who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality care with professionalism. Our dentist values efficiency, direct communication, and a strong focus on patient care. The right candidate will be self-motivated, steady under pressure, and able to take initiative while working as part of a collaborative team.
What You’ll Do
Provide chairside assistance to our pediatric dentist with accuracy and efficiency
Support children and families by creating a calm, professional, and reassuring experience
Maintain a clean, organized, and kid-friendly clinical environment
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Accept feedback constructively and use it to continually improve skills
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of dental assisting experience required (pediatric experience preferred)
Confidence in your clinical skills and ability to work independently once trained
Professional, composed demeanor with children, families, and colleagues
Strong organizational and communication skills
A proactive, growth-minded approach to learning and teamwork
