During his junior and senior years at St. Augustine High School, Ethan was dual enrolled in FCTC’s Diesel Program. As a St. Johns County student, his college tuition was paid by the school district. When Ethan graduated from SAHS, he came back to FCTC as an adult student where his previous credits followed him. Ethan was more than halfway through obtaining his adult credentials.
While at FCTC, he spent half his day with his instructor in the classroom and lab. The other half was spent in a paid externship where he gained valuable experience at a local company preparing him for a full-time position when he completes. In just six months after high school, Ethan is working in the career he loves and building financial stability for his future.
