Foundation

In 2012, plans began for the launch of the First Coast Technical College Education Foundation. The mission of the Foundation is to assist students of First Coast Technical College (FCTC) in their pursuit of excellence by supplementing traditional funding. To that end, the Foundation seeks to attract private funds, grants and resources which will complement, enhance and enrich FCTC programs and provide opportunities for students. In doing so, the First Coast Technical College Education Foundation will help ensure that area students have access to a high-quality education that prepares them for today’s workforce.

To meet these goals, the Foundation hopes to provide scholarships for students in need and technology grants to programs for investment in tools that will better prepare FCTC students for tomorrow’s workforce.

Success will depend on the partnership of our community. Many opportunities aravailable for individuals, organizations and businesses interested in helping us plan for the future relevancy and vibrancy of the College. These include:

  • Donating to our scholarships funds to assist students in need;
  • Assist us in building pioneering  and responsive relationships  with local businesses and industry;
  • Providing your time and talent to our Foundation Board of Directors or special events.
