What is Career Navigators?

Career Navigators is an enrichment program designed to help young adults ages 16 to 24 explore career opportunities and attain the education and training required for success. Our students are motivated to gain a competitive advantage in the workplace by earning credentials to increase their employability and earning power. Whether it is a GED or technical certifications aligned with high skill/high wage industries, Career Navigator students make the most of their education with the assistance of professional Career Coaches.

Participants have access to workshops on professional skills, personal finance, goal setting, career and college exploration, career laddering, entrepreneurship, and much more! Paid and unpaid job shadowing/work experiences are just one way our students benefit from the enriched educational program.

Who is eligible for Career Navigators?

  • Young adults between the ages of 16 and 24.
  • High school drop out
  • Disability
  • Pregnant
  • Parenting
  • Arrest history
  • Foster Care
  • Homeless
  • High school graduate AND low income AND Basic Skills deficiency
  • High school graduate AND low income AND English Language Learner

ASAP (ACCELERATED SECONDARY ADVANTAGE PROGRAM)

 Jump-start your training program while working on your GED in Career Navigators’ ASAP classroom! Our energized and engaging GED classroom will get you through the preparation period faster, and all the while you can start your training program, too. We call it our co-enrollment program for high school drop outs. Drop back in to school ASAP!
