Savannah La Mendola-Centeno

While a student at St. Johns Technical High School, Savannah has also been enrolled in the Horticulture Science program at FCTC for the past two years. For most of that time, she worked with her instructors to prepare for the Florida Certified Horticulture Professional industry certification exam governed by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscaping Association. She passed four independent exams to achieve her credentials and meet her goals! This certification articulates to 6 hours of credit towards an A.S. degree in Landscape & Horticulture Technology if Savannah decides to pursue a degree after graduation. Savannah will be awarded Merit status on her high school diploma. Congratulations Savannah!
