Artic Air Conditioning and Home Services is a Palatka based HVAC contractor that provides service, installation and maintenance service throughout Palatka, St. Augustine, and the Northeast Florida Region including Putnam, Duval, St. Johns and Alachua counties. Position Overview
We’re seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC/R Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a strong foundation in HVAC refrigeration experience who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service. In this role, you’ll work independently in the field to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of HVAC systems, ensuring peak performance and customer satisfaction. You’ll be trusted to represent our company with professionalism, uphold safety and quality standards, and deliver honest, efficient solutions on every job.

What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems including walk in freezers, chillers, ice machines etc.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Communicate clearly with customers about repairs and recommendations
- Deliver top-tier customer service with professionalism and care
- Work closely with dispatch, parts, install, and management teams
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and stock inventory as needed
- Accurately complete job-related paperwork and documentation
- Mentor junior technicians and participate in ongoing training
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on HVAC refrigeration service, diagnosis, and repair experience
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting background
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Commitment to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Leadership experience or mentoring mindset is a big plus
- Experience with Service Titan software
- EPA Required
- Must be able to pass a background, drug screen & license check
Must be able to pass a background check, and drug tests prior to and throughout employment.
