Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 / hour
Job Description:
We are a privately owned general dentistry practice located in the St. Johns/St. Augustine area near County Road 210. We have been proudly serving our community for over 18 years and are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our small, fun, team-oriented office!
We are looking for someone who is a team player, organized, dependable, and eager to grow with our practice. New graduates are welcome to apply!
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of restorative procedures
- Set up and break down operatories
- Take dental X-rays
- Sterilization and infection control
- Pack cord and assist with crown procedures
- Digital scanning for crowns and nightguards
- Take impressions as needed
- Assist with expanded functions according to Florida guidelines and certifications
- Present treatment plans and obtain required consent forms
- Review post-treatment instructions with patients
- Complete the patient’s walk-out appointment and schedule their next appointment when needed
- Maintain organized, clean, and well-stocked operatories
- Assist with front-office duties when needed
