The Role

We’re looking for a Help Desk Technician who enjoys helping others and solving IT problems. In this role, you’ll provide both remote and onsite support to clients — handling everything from desktop troubleshooting and network issues to system setups and migrations. You’ll be the friendly, skilled technician clients rely on to keep their systems running smoothly.

This is a hands-on position for someone who loves variety, values client relationships, and wants to work for a company that genuinely values its people.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide technical support: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving hardware, software, and networks.
  • Remote & onsite assistance: Support users both through remote tools and in-person visits when hands-on help is needed.
  • Client communication: Work directly with end users to diagnose and resolve IT issues quickly and professionally.
  • Manage tickets: Track, prioritize, and document all support requests using tools like Syncro, ConnectWise or Autotask.
  • Collaborate with the team: Work closely with other technicians and engineers on complex issues and ongoing projects.
  • Proactive monitoring: Identify and respond to system alerts before they cause downtime.
  • Knowledge sharing: Document solutions and update internal knowledge bases.
  • Support IT projects: Assist with installations, migrations, and upgrades.
  • Keep learning: Stay current on new technologies, security best practices, and support tools.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 2+ years in an IT support or help desk role (MSP experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with Windows, macOS, and basic Linux troubleshooting. Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Tools: Good with basic tools, screwdrivers, power tools, etc.
  • Networking Basics: Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
  • Ticketing Systems: Experience with ConnectWise, Autotask, or similar platforms.
  • Cloud/SaaS: Familiar with cloud services, SaaS tools, and backup solutions.
  • Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Customer Service: Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues in plain language.
  • Teamwork: Works well with others and supports a positive team environment.
  • Organization: Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Nice to Have

  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • Endpoint management tools (Intune, Jamf, SCCM)
  • Experience with system migrations or major IT rollouts
