Medical Aesthetician
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Medical Aesthetician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform a wide range of aesthetic treatments including dermabrasion, facial treatments, chemical peels, microneedling treatments and dermaplaning.
- Provide consultations to assess client needs and recommend suitable treatment plans tailored to individual skin types and goals.
- Manage pre- and post-treatment care instructions to ensure optimal results and client satisfaction.
- Operate advanced software such as Modernizing Medicine (EMA) to schedule appointments, update client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Maintain strict sanitation standards by adhering to proper sterilization procedures for all equipment and treatment areas.
- Engage with clients through patient communication platforms and social media management and product demos to promote services and retail offerings effectively.
- Upsell additional treatments and retail products confidently while delivering excellent patient services that foster loyalty.
- Assist at the front desk with guest check-in/out processes, appointment scheduling, and answering client inquiries promptly.
- Support team collaboration by sharing knowledge of skincare ingredients, and treatment techniques to enhance overall service quality.
- Prepare patients for their visits, handle documentation, make follow-up calls, and keep everything running smoothly with efficient scheduling and housekeeping.
- Work closely with our skilled physicians, physican assistants and nurse practioner. Help with more complex treatments like neurotoxins, dermal fillers and PRP injections.
Qualifications
- Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician with relevant certifications in medical aesthetics or related fields.
- Proven experience in med spa environments or similar settings with familiarity in facials, chemical peels and microneedling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients about treatments while providing outstanding customer service.
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards essential for maintaining a clean and professional environment.
- Competence in social media management to promote services and engage with clients online.
- Demonstrated retail sales aptitude with a focus on skincare products or treatment packages.
- Experience in handling dermabrasion or esthetic laser treatments is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
