Technical Support Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will travel to client sites to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, along with supporting clients remotely from our office. The ideal candidate will have a deep interest in cybersecurity and a desire to learn and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Travel to client locations to provide on-site technical support and resolve customer issues related to IT systems and cybersecurity.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems both onsite and remotely.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement security measures and best practices.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
  • Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of client interactions and resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
  • Complete company provided training.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, or similar) are a plus but not required.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to develop a career in this field.
  • Proficient in administering Windows Server environments and knowledgeable in PowerShell scripting for automation and management tasks.
  • Experience with firewall configurations and network security.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 / Entra ID.
  • Familiarity with LAN technologies and network protocols.
  • Prior experience in a help desk or customer support role is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team by sharing ideas to enhance and streamline processes and procedures, with a strong emphasis on proactive solutions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
