Dental Assistant
Job Description:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms
• Take and process dental X-rays and impressions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions
• Manage dental supply inventory and restock treatment areas as needed
• Schedule appointments and assist with front office duties when necessary
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Hours:
9AM – 5PM
Starting Pay:
16
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• X-ray certification (state-specific requirement)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Compassionate and professional demeanor
Preferred Skills
• Experience with dental software (Open Dental)
• Knowledge of chairside procedures and dental terminology
