Endodontic Dental Assistant

As we grow our practice, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our Endo team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist and providing high-quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits at a privately owned practice.
Duties:
– Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
– Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
– Take dental x-rays using digital imaging systems
– Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and medical documentation
– Perform dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
– Educate patients on procedures and post-operative care instructions
– Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
– Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and verifying insurance information
Experience:
– Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
– Proficient in using dental software for charting and scheduling
– Knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging, and medical terminology
Requirements:
– Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or equivalent training
– X-Ray certification in accordance with state regulations
– Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members
– Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
