About the Role

We’re hiring an IT Operations & Automation Specialist to help us rethink how IT support and systems operations are done — with AI, automation, and smart processes at the center, not endless manual work.

This is not a traditional helpdesk role. You won’t just reset passwords and close tickets. Instead, you’ll help design, deploy, and improve systems that eliminate repetitive IT work through automation, low-code/no-code tools, and AI-powered workflows. We care about:

  • Your ability to learn fast
  • Your comfort using AI as a daily tool
  • Your motivation to improve processes and automate yourself out of busywork

This role sits inside our Marketing Technology Department’s Urgent Ops & IT response team — the group responsible for keeping our revenue-generating teams online, supported, and moving quickly.

If you’re early in your IT career (or just starting it), curious, systems-minded, and excited to build the future of IT operations — this role was designed for you.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role isn’t measured by how many tickets you close — it’s measured by how many tickets stop needing to exist.

Within your first 90 days, you’ll:

  • Automate 80%+ of routine IT tasks (onboarding, access, resets, common requests)
  • Fully take ownership of day-to-day IT operations with confidence and autonomy
  • Escalate complex issues cleanly and communicate clearly with internal teams

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy AI-powered and low-code automations for routine IT workflows(account creation, onboarding/offboarding, password resets, access provisioning)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT support tickets
  • Own daily tech support (devices, access, connectivity, urgent triage)
  • Manage Google Workspace users and permissions
  • Support and maintain marketing and communications tools (Keap, Twilio, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
  • Manage DNS records, SSL certificates, domains, and email deliverability(SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Maintain endpoint inventory and assist with laptop provisioning and offboarding
  • Support remote access tools, VPNs, and device-level security practices
  • Partner with vendors and external IT partners for advanced issues
  • Continuously explore and implement new AI tools to improve IT operations

The Ideal Candidate

  • You’re tech-curious and love figuring out how systems work
  • You’re excited about AI and already use it to learn, troubleshoot, or automate
  • You’d rather improve a process than repeat the same task forever
  • You’re calm under pressure and communicate clearly with non-technical users
  • You like structure, documentation, and clean systems — without corporate bloat
  • You want ownership, not micromanagement
  • You’re ready to jump in, learn fast, and grow with a small, high-impact team

Experience & Skills

We encourage candidates from non-traditional backgrounds, recent graduates, or those early in their careers to apply.

  • Some exposure to IT, systems administration, or computer science
  • Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and SaaS platforms
  • Basic understanding of DNS, domains, and email systems
  • Experience with automation tools (Zapier, scripting via AI, or similar) is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Strong troubleshooting mindset with a sense of urgency
  • Willingness to learn security best practices, IAM, and endpoint management
  • No formal coding or development experience required

How to Apply

Submit your resume and any relevant work samples (projects, automations, experiments — formal or informal) to [email protected].

If you’ve built automations, used AI to solve problems, or improved a process — we’d love to hear about it.
