Tired of the back-of-house grind? Do you dream of sharing your culinary passion with a wider audience? Merman’s Revenge is a growing food product brand that specializes in flavor and we’re looking for an On-Camera Chef to join our team. This isn’t your typical kitchen job; it’s a chance to be the star of the show.
We need a talented and engaging seafood specialist who loves to communicate their love of cooking and teach others in the simplest steps. You’ll work our production crew in our lovely kitchen studio and outside grilling area, creating and filming delicious recipes for our marketing channels. If you have a passion for all things seafood and a personality that shines on camera, we want to meet you!
Where: Mandarin and San Marco locations in Jacksonville, FL
What you’ll do:
Develop and create new, mouth-watering seafood recipes with our products and complementary sides for a well-rounded meal that can be cooked in any American-style kitchen
Prepare and cook dishes on camera for video content
Bring your unique personality and flair to every shoot
Team up with our marketing production team to produce engaging and informative content
Who we’re looking for:
A seasoned pro with professional culinary training or extensive restaurant kitchen experience
A true team player with a can-do attitude
Someone creative and quick on their feet who loves to experiment with new ideas.
Able to plan ahead (build a cooking schedule, grocery lists, etc.) and stay on budget, and coordinate with our shooting schedule
A natural on camera, comfortable cooking and talking at the same time.
This is a flexible role, with a commitment of 3–5 days a week during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.). The pay is competitive and based on your experience.
