HVAC Helper
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge and experience in HVAC systems is a plus. This role involves installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial properties. The HVAC Technician will also be responsible for ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and comply with safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and provide effective solutions to restore system functionality.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for system repairs or modifications.
- Collaborate with property maintenance teams to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems.
- Design and implement system upgrades or modifications based on client needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations during all installations and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in plumbing tasks related to HVAC installations and repairs is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams for system design is a plus.
- Familiarity with various types of heating and cooling equipment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record may be required to drive company trucks.
- Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 60 per week
