Line Cook
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our restaurant’s standards while ensuring efficiency and cleanliness in the kitchen.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and equipment.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of dietary requirements.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with dietary department practices is a plus, particularly regarding meal preparation for specific dietary needs.
- Strong understanding of food safety guidelines and best practices in the kitchen.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
