Serene Beauty Lounge, located inside Total Salon Studios, is an R+CO , eco-friendly salon suite.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair care and styling techniques, along with excellent customer service skills. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services while ensuring client satisfaction and promoting retail products.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet the needs and preferences of clients.
- Utilize techniques such as hair threading and straight razor cutting to achieve desired results.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients to understand their hair care needs and provide professional recommendations based on color theory and current trends.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance the client experience and boost salon revenue.
- Keep accurate records of services performed and products sold using MINDBODY or similar scheduling software.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge to continuously improve skills.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license in accordance with state regulations.
- Minimum 1 year experience. Must have clientele.
- Strong knowledge of hair care techniques, and color theory.
- Knowledge of R+CO product a PLUS.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- A passion for the beauty industry and commitment to providing exceptional service.
