Diesel Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with the ability to work on various types of Dump Trucks and heavy machinery. This role requires a hands-on approach to diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Conduct brake repairs, hydraulic system maintenance, and general troubleshooting.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required during repairs and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Caterpillar, Komatsu, John Deere, cummings engines and other diesel systems.
- Familiarity with hydraulic systems and their components.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.50 – $29.41 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
