Barber/Stylist
We are seeking a talented and passionate Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide exceptional hair care services while creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in hairstyling and cutting, along with a commitment to customer service and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, styling, coloring, and treatments according to client preferences and current trends.
- Apply makeup as requested by clients to enhance their overall look.
- Provide nail care services, including manicures and pedicures, ensuring high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Upsell products and services to clients based on their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client records, and inventory management.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide personalized recommendations.
- Mentor junior stylists or interns to foster skill development within the team.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of color theory and application techniques.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in makeup application techniques is a plus.
- Experience with salon software is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on active listening and empathy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $27.70 – $32.66 per hour
