School Access
School access (proceeding past the front office of any school) is required for every individual that is not a staff member of the St. Johns County School District. This is done through completion of the district’s volunteer application. School access is good for 3 years. For help completing the online application, please call (904) 547-3945.

This week, the FCTC Welding Department had the privilege of hosting representatives from BAE Systems, a global leader in defense, aerospace, and security solutions. The team provided an in-depth overview of the company and its four primary sectors, offering students valuable insight into the opportunities available within the industry.![]()

During their visit, BAE Systems also highlighted the recent opening of a new ship lift at their Jacksonville facility, an exciting development that will further expand their capabilities in ship repair and maintenance.![]()

In addition to speaking with the class, BAE conducted on-site interviews with several senior students. We are proud to share those three seniors received job offers upon graduation—a testament to their hard work and the strength of our program.![]()
