Open Door Grant
The Open-Door Grant Program 2024-2025 is a Financial Aid Program offered by First Coast Technical College and funded by the Florida Department of Education. The program is designed to incentivize current and future workers to enroll in career and technical education programs that lead to a credential, certificate, or degree.
The Grant covers 100% of tuition and fees associated with the eligible programs not otherwise covered by Federal Grants, State Grant, or other Third-Party payments.
Florida First Responder Scholarship
The Florida First Responder scholarship program is created to assist in the recruitment of emergency medical technicians, paramedics, and firefighters within the state by providing financial assistance to trainees who enroll in an approved training program.
The Scholarship Program covers 100% of Tuition, up to $1,000 for eligible expenses, including textbooks, uniforms, and any other costs or fees for necessary consumable materials required to complete the basic recruit training program. Not otherwise covered by Federal Grants, State Grants or other Third-Party payments.
Funds are subject to availability and will be awarded once the application is approved and all other aid is applied.
Applications should be submitted in-person to the Financial Aid Office in Building A on our Main Campus.
