Junior Systems Administrator/Engineer
The primary responsibility of the Junior Systems Administrator / Engineer is to provide technical support to our clients that reside at various locations throughout US. Our multi-site environment consists of many different clients and is largely based on Microsoft technologies. Secondary responsibility will include service as an escalation point to internal IT staff to address incidents on existing/new systems and environments as well as other activities identified by IT management.
A viable candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience working as a tier two or higher and have demonstrated desk-side support and customer-facing skills.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Escalation point for Service Desk Agents
- Customer/Client advocate
- Manage service requests from inception to completion within Service Level Objectives
- Advanced customer service skill set –Solve a customer’s issues and leave the user with a very positive experience
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
- Adhere to inventory management and change management procedures
- Hardware refresh (image, inventory, deploy, content migration, etc)
- Provide timely reports to IT Management (Critical issues, SLA breaches, service opportunities, etc.)
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple high-priorities and balance priorities
- Must be able to improvise in an acceptable manner in order to react to a pressure situation
- Must be able to work effectively, independently or as a member of a team
- Strong communication skills and relationship building ability

- Advanced experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office Automation Tools
- Windows 10 and 11
- Office 2013/2016/2019 Professional (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project, Visio) Internet Explorer, etc.)
- Microsoft (Office) 365
- Knowledge of current Windows Server Versions
- Working knowledge of AD, DNS, and troubleshooting servers.
- Ability to troubleshoot network devices (Routers, Firewalls, Switches, WAP’s, etc)

Summary
As a Junior Systems Administrator/Engineer, you will be responsible for managing IT infrastructure, system design, and system architecture. With core skills in system administration and systems engineering, you will ensure the smooth operation of operating systems and IT systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
