Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) B Job Description:

EMT-B Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.
- State specific Emergency Medical Technician certification in good standing / current NREMT certification
- Current CPR: BLS certification.
- Valid state specific Drivers license.
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 125 lbs. independently.
Preferred Qualifications (but not required)
- Previous experience working as an EMT or in a similar medical role.
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) and/or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) training
