Head Chef
We are a new restaurant that is opening in the next month or two. Our food is the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a talented and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team, elevate our culinary standards, and help build a consistently excellent dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and closing
- Lead and train BOH team on recipes, techniques, and safety
- Create or maintain menu items with consistent quality and presentation
- Monitor food cost, portion control, and inventory
- Order supplies and maintain strong vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (local/state)
- Collaborate with GM and ownership on seasonal menus or specials
- Maintain a clean, efficient, and positive kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Minimum1year of experience in a high-volume or upscale kitchen
- Leadership experience as a Sous Chef, CDC, or Exec Chef
- Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of kitchen operations
- Ability to lead and inspire a team under pressure
- ServSafe Manager or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong communication and organization skills

Pay: $50,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
