Head Chef

We are a new restaurant that is opening in the next month or two. Our food is the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a talented and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen team, elevate our culinary standards, and help build a consistently excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and closing
  • Lead and train BOH team on recipes, techniques, and safety
  • Create or maintain menu items with consistent quality and presentation
  • Monitor food cost, portion control, and inventory
  • Order supplies and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (local/state)
  • Collaborate with GM and ownership on seasonal menus or specials
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and positive kitchen environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum1year of experience in a high-volume or upscale kitchen
  • Leadership experience as a Sous Chef, CDC, or Exec Chef
  • Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of kitchen operations
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team under pressure
  • ServSafe Manager or equivalent certification preferred
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
