Pastry Chef
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a love for creating delicious pastries and desserts. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Pastry Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional baked goods that delight our customers.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and quality standards in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, utilizing various techniques to enhance presentation.
- Package finished products for display or sale, ensuring they are visually appealing and properly labeled.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new recipes and improve existing offerings.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station, including proper storage of ingredients.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons regarding pastry selections and special requests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pastry Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food preparation methods, and culinary principles.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
- Creative skills in cake decorating and presentation of baked goods.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to continuously learn and grow within the field.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
