Caregiver (HHA & CNA)
Job Description:
Need a CNA or HHA for immediate openings. Full Time, Part Time and PRN
This is a great opportunity.
Experience with STROKES, DEMENTIA, ALZHEIMERS or PARKINSON’S is preferred.
Experience with transferring from bed to commode or wheelchair is REQUIRED
RELIABLE and DEPENDABILITY IS A MUST!!!
Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare professional.
– Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
– Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
– Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques.
– Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and individual preferences.
– Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
– Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up.
Requirements:
– Valid certification as a Home Health Aide or completion of a recognized training program.
– Experience in providing patient care preferred.
– Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare practices.
– Ability to lift and transfer patients safely and comfortably.
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
– Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients in need of assistance.
– Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
Hours:
10-40 VARIES
Starting Pay:
$15.00-$18.00
Minimum Requirements:
CNA license or HHA Cert
If non of these, you should have a min of 6 months experience.
Current CPR is required.
