Mechanical Assembler
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and subassemblies for industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, this role follows blueprints, assembly instructions, and parts lists to build high-quality products. The position requires attention to detail, basic mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work with hand and power tools.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools
Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to complete builds
Gather required materials, tools, and components prior to assembly
Position and align parts using templates, measurements, and specifications
Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and hydraulic systems
Identify and select appropriate hardware (nuts, bolts, fasteners) for each task
Ensure assemblies meet quality and production standards
Support different stages of the build process including sub-assembly, final assembly, and testing
Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles
This position is a 50-hour work week, including 10 hours of overtime. 1st Shift (Monday – Friday): 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday): 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM 3rd Shift (Friday – Monday): 4:00 AM – 4:30 PM Work 48 hours, paid for 52 hours

High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
0–3 years of experience in:
Mechanical assembly
Manufacturing or production environment
Equipment or vehicle assembly (preferred)
