Application and Enrollment Guide

STEP 1 – COMPLETE OUR ON-LINE APPLICATION

Complete the application by visiting http://fctc.edu/apply/

The on-line application is easy to complete and you can save as you go. You can complete the on-line application at home, or at FCTC. Save your user name and password for easy access.

Health Science Programs and the Fire Fighter Program must first attend an informational session and may need to complete an additional application.

STEP 2 – FINANCIAL AID ASSISTANCE

STEP 3 – GATHER REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

It is recommended that at this time, you begin gathering some necessary documentation in order to expedite the registration process:

  • Proof of Florida residency- please bring 2 forms of Identification (please see residency handout included for more details)
  • Official sealed transcripts- this may exempt you from required assessments
  • Recent tax return- required for FASFA application

STEP 4 – PROGRAM QUESTIONS AND INFORMATION

Once your application has been completed, it will be forwarded to the appropriate and they will reach out to you directly to answer any questions you may have and advise you on your next steps based your specific needs and program interest.

STEP 5 –REGISTER FOR CLASSES

You will need to schedule an appointment with our Registration staff in order to register for classes.  Please call 904-547-3282 and speak with Renne Williams to schedule.  Some programs may require an assessment prior to being able to attend a program.  As part of Step 4, this should be discussed based on your specific needs and program interest.  These required assessments will be scheduled through Registration.
