Jacksonville Family Dentistry at Southside is hiring Dental Assistant

We are hiring a talented, outgoing dental assistant for our busy private office. The ideal candidate has an upbeat, friendly attitude, advanced knowledge on Cerec scanner and implant dentistry, strong multitasking abilities & a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Our culture requires a candidate who is passionate about dentistry with an energetic personality to enable seamless integration with our existing team. Candidates must be a self-starter, excited to develop their knowledge of the dental field, and be willing to work at a quick pace.

Newly hired team members will enter an enthusiastic private office and work as a team to provide the best experience possible for our amazing patients.

· Qualifications: Dental Assisting: 2 years (Required)

· X-Ray Certification (Required)

· High school or equivalent (Preferred)

· Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)

Schedule- Monday and Tuesday (7am- 4pm), Weds and Thurs (10am-6pm), Every other Friday (8am-1pm)

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience

Responsibilities:

· Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

· Additional certifications or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)

· Clear understanding of health & safety regulations

· Assisting front desk duties on any downtime

· Knowledge of dental instruments, procedures, and sterilization

· Basic understanding of oral surgery, endodontics, restorative, and implant dentistry (you will be expected to discuss and explain these procedures to a patient)

· Knowledge of Eaglesoft and Cerec machine

· Well-organized and reliable
