Crane Operator
Job Description:
Operates cranes in accordance to OSHA standards and NCCER certification in order to set materials as needed. Performs routine crane inspections and safety checklists, and communicates any vehicle maintenance needs to the office scheduling team. Assists with rigging and securing of loads. Learns/Understands sign making stages and procedures in order to effectively assist other departments as needed.
Hours:
7-3:30, M-F
Starting Pay:
$18/hr + – dependent on experience, plus benefits
Minimum Requirements:
•Attention to Detail
•Excellent hand-eye coordination and depth perception
•Valid Florida Driver’s license with clean driving record
•CDL Required
•NCCER / NCCO Crane certification for telescopic boom and swing cab cranes (Preferred, can assist in obtaining)
•Able to interpret hand signals or radio communication effectively
•Physical strength and stamina to handle workloads in various weather conditions.
•Problem-solving
