Introduction to Aircraft Fabrication Class of 2019

After relocating to St. Augustine, we both had a difficult time figuring out the next phase of our careers. FCTC’s Aircraft Fabrication course and Goodwill Industries of North Florida scholarships changed our lives. The three-month program gifted us with skills to start laying down professional foundations. In just three short years, we have created growing careers with Northrop Grumman Corporation. FCTC gave us the chance to have a lifetime of opportunity in the ever-evolving aerospace industry.

We have flourished as aircraft structures mechanics and have both been recognized for our work and quality performance. I (Kaylee) am on the path to leadership while continuing my education through the Northrop Grumman’s Education Assistance Program. I (Dakota) continue to advance in my work group for leadership. We both see opportunities to grow and advance within the company. We cannot express enough gratitude for the instructors for helping us discover our true capabilities.
