Ambrosia is a graduate of the Class of 2020 Practical Nursing Program and is working as a substance abuse Detox Nurse at The Augustine Recovery Center. Career Navigators encouraged Ambrosia to take the Home Health Aide course prior to going into nursing and helped her with funding for school. Her FCTC training prepared her for the necessary skills, helped her learn the legalities of nursing and was very relevant to real world situations.
Ambrosia’s advice to current students is, “Persevere, it’ll be worth it.”
