Tara started in FCTC’s Adult Education GED classes February of 2019 as a birthday gift to herself. This was motivated by her stepdaughter who needed some help with her schoolwork. Within two months Tara obtain her GED with assistance from Career Navigators! As Tara started helping her stepdaughter with school assignments, it led to an improvement in her grades. Tara continued at FCTC and received a certification in Home Health Aide and is currently working at Always Caring Home Health. She desires to become a Practical Nurse and hopes to reenroll into FCTC’s program. Tara’s advice to her peers is, “If you feel like you can’t do it, there is plenty of support. Don’t give up.” Congratulations Tara!
