Orthodontic Technician / Chairside Assistant

Our extraordinary orthodontic team is looking for the right motivated and caring person to join us in providing the highest quality personal service and professional orthodontic care to our family of patients in St. Augustine and St. Johns area. Requirements include friendliness, a kind and caring heart, professional appearance, and a firm commitment to “being the best” at exceeding expectations for our family of patients while creating beautiful smiles.
Applicants should have a good work ethic, the ability to learn quickly and have a strong desire to become an exceptionally skilled orthodontic team player. Commitment and reliability are essential in a patient scheduled position. Dental or orthodontic experience is a plus but we will train the right person. We offer an excellent training program that leads to a career position.
Two locations: St. Augustine and St. Johns Florida
Experience:
- Orthodontic assisting experience would be valuable, but not required (will train the right person at our cost without the need of school expenses).
- General Computer Proficiency as we are a digital and paperless practice
- Ability to work independently and multitask and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
- Complete precise work in a fast paced environment
Chairside Duties:
- Assist Orthodontist in the mouth for placement of orthodontic braces, appliances, and Invisalign
- Complete orthodontic adjustments
- Remove orthodontic braces / appliances
- Take digital photos, x-rays and digital impressions and scans of the teeth
- Proper OSHA sterilization protocol
- Communicate to patients of all ages with a SMILE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $23.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
