Lydia Case

I graduated from St. Augustine HS and wanted to start a career. Medical Assisting gives each student a chance to be successful. This course prepared me for my future and taught me not only how to be a great MA, but also a great person. I wouldn’t be where I am today without the help of my teacher and Career Navigator Case Manager. At the end of the program, you attend an externship where you experience hands-on training. The Eye Center of St. Augustine was my extern site and they offered me a job. I am now a Ophthalmic Assistant working to become a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and earned enough money to get my own apartment. Without FCTC and Career Navigators, I would not have been able to achieve my dream.
